The EPA has failed to take action on toxic pesticides like paraquat, chlormequat and neonicotinoids. Toxic pesticides like neonicotinoids are putting bees at risk of extinction. The loss of these pollinators puts our food system at risk. The pesticide paraquat is linked to Parkinson's and banned in more than 60 countries, but is still allowed in the U.S.. These chemicals are bad for pollinators, bad for soil health and bad for our beneficial microbiome. The EWG is committed to helping consumers source the cleanest ingredients possible and publishes their Clean 15 and Dirty Dozen list every year.
